Survey Design

The purpose of the CORE survey system is normally to measure effectiveness of training delivered from 3 to 6 months prior to administration of the survey. This measurement requires that criteria and benchmarks first be developed that will adequately assess the tasks performed. The steps in this process are shown in the graphic below:

The important point to remember about the online survey system is that it is designed for use after the activities described in the first four bullets of the above graphic have taken place.

The CORE Survey Instrument may also be used to conduct immediate surveys of student reactions to the instruction (Level 1) in an E-learning environment, where all class participants typically have access to a web-connected desktop computer.
