Dr. Robert Lissitz, PhD

Dr. Robert Lissitz, Ph.D specializes in psychometric and evaluation consulting activities, including, but not limited to:

• Criterion-referenced test (CRT) development for workplace-based certification programs
• Corporate training in CRT development activities
• Program evaluation

Dr. Lissitz, holds his Ph.D in Psychology in Measurement and Statistics. He was the chair of the Measurement, Statistics and Evaluation Department at the University of Maryland for 26 years. He has been doing statistical and evaluation consulting for 28 years. He is currently a professor at the University of Maryland and the director of the Maryland Assessment Research Center for Education Success (MARCES). Dr. Lissitz has advised a variety of organizations including the National Council n Measurement in Education, American Educational Research Association, National Assessment Governing Board, and Maryland State Department of Education.
