Electronic Assessment

Today's technology makes it possible to implement a highly automated way
to assess the results and impact of training, using the models developed
by Donald Kirkpatrick. The World Wide Web is accessible almost anywhere
there is a telephone. Virtual 100% computerization of every employee's
desktop is now a reality. This means that a training organization can
collect data during and after training, and can survey training participants
at various levels and time intervals.
A centralized, multi-level training evaluation process can be established
to initially collect Level 1 through Level 4 data through a combination
of scannable paper evaluation forms, electronic data input, telephone
response and transcribed handwritten comments provided by students and
instructors. The data inputs provided would be stored in a relational
database; reports would be generated and distributed via email, secure
Internet web site and other means. Various roll-up and management reports
would be created as required by the entity measuring and evaluating the
results of the training.
