Development of Training Materials for the Local and Tribal Transportation Community

PTG provided training development and delivery services to local, Tribal, and Federal land management agencies. PTG evaluated and assessed existing course content and provided recommended solutions to either modify the existing course or develop the course in an alternate format to be more effective. PTG delivered web-based training (WBT), web conference training (WCT), video conference training (VCT), flipped classroom training, new technologies such as mobile apps and virtual world delivery, and new evolving training delivery platforms.

Department of Housing and Urban Development – Housing and Community Development

Create and Develop Training Video Content

PTG supported HUD’s Office of Native American Programs (ONAP) by providing training video content for new staff at ONAP Headquarters and Field Offices (AONAP). PTG provided different training courses, including: working in Indian Country, Indian Law, Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG), Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG), 2 CFR 200, Audits, Monitoring Reviews, and Forensic Accounting. PTG was able to provide Native American Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for many of these courses, and our expert Instructional System Designers (ISDs) created video training content which aligned with ONAP’s mission and objectives.

Update and Revise Civil Rights Training Course

PTG supported NHI in updating and revising its Civil Rights Training Course, “Risk Mitigation Through Title VI Reviews.” PTG was contracted to design and develop a course consisting of asynchronous pre-work content with evaluation mechanisms for learners to complete independently prior to attending a virtual, instructor-led, workshop-style training session. Delivery methods for pre-work content included videos (explainer and software demonstration), interactive web-based training, web quests, downloadable PDFs, and standalone quizzes and assessments. In addition, PTG developed a virtual training session, which included the development of instructor guides, presentation materials, and participant workbooks.

National Science Foundation – Office of Information Resource Management (OIRM)

Learning Management System Hosting, Migration, & Support

PTG supported NSF’s LMS (LearnNSF) by providing LMS administration and technical services. PTG served as NSF’s primary interface to the LMS vendor (SAP) and developed integrations with content providers (LinkedIn Learning, Lynda.com). PTG integrated LearnNSF with NSF’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for automated user management; configured organizational hierarchies, user permissions, courses, catalogs, and curricula; loaded and tested courses and offerings (synchronous/asynchronous, online, virtual, classroom); managed learning assignments, competencies, programs, and mandatory and recurring training; setup approval workflows for SF-182 and other training requests; monitored and generated system reports on learning activities, and developed custom reports.

Pima County, AZ – Pima County Health Department (PCHD)

Create and Develop Training Video Content

PTG supported Pima County, Arizona’s Health Department by providing self-directed, customized e-learning training courses. These courses were developed using the State’s preferred Articulate software and worked seamlessly with Arizona’s Learning Management System. PTG’s expert Instructional System Designers (ISDs) were able to provide engaging e-learning courses across a wide host of content defined by Pima County, resulting in an updated suite of training materials for the PCHD’s growing human capital requirements.
