PTG supported the HHS / ASA / OHR / Human Capital Programs Division (HCPD) providing a comprehensive measurement and analytics solution to serve the enterprise-wide learning and human capital functions across HHS and its Operating Divisions (OPDIVs). PTG’s TEMPO® tool provided a comprehensive training evaluation tool to conduct multi-rater assessments and to measure the impact of HHS Department-wide sponsored training and development programs against the Kirkpatrick Evaluation model and the Department’s strategic goals. This includes producing key metrics and reports that can be leveraged to conduct gap analyses and to inform the Department’s training strategy while facilitating the assessment of the Department’s progress towards achieving established goals.

IT Portfolio Management (ITPfM)

The PTG Information Technology (IT) Portfolio Management (ITPfM) Team provided portfolio management, governance, technology business management (TBM), and capital planning leadership, policy, guidance, and assistance to the OCIO and DOL’s Departmental agencies. PTG’s ITPfM Team was responsible for orchestrating a DOL-wide IT investment and information management review process for a $911 million IT portfolio consisting of 27 agencies, in addition to collaborating and coordinating investment management activities within PBGC. The total IT Portfolio consists of approximately 130 investments including major investments, non-major investments, standard investments, and funding transfers.

PTG provided support in several functional areas for Rural Development’s Office of External Affairs to meet the challenges of new Drupal content management system (CMS) development, monitor site traffic, and provide web content support. This included improving information architecture, improving user web navigation, creation of the new Rural Development home page, full time technical support, a G4 Dashboard setup, new program listing and page enhancements, and implementation of discovery pages for the website.

Development of Training Materials for the Local and Tribal Transportation Community

PTG provided training development and delivery services to local, Tribal, and Federal land management agencies. PTG evaluated and assessed existing course content and provided recommended solutions to either modify the existing course or develop the course in an alternate format to be more effective. PTG delivered web-based training (WBT), web conference training (WCT), video conference training (VCT), flipped classroom training, new technologies such as mobile apps and virtual world delivery, and new evolving training delivery platforms.
