PTG provided FEMA’s Office of the Chief Component Procurement Officer (OCCPO) with an organizational workforce assessment and solutions involving federal acquisitions and emergency management organizations. The workforce assessment considered OCCPO’s organizational structure, historical procurement activity, current skillset (strengths and gaps), challenges concerning the federal staffing shortage, recruitment challenges in the federal space (competing for qualified acquisition personnel), and challenges relative to workforce qualifications and staff development. The PTG recommended solution included strategies and initiatives (actional and executable by FEMA personnel), recommendations on recruitment and retention, succession planning, a staffing model, and encompassed the desired future state design, aligning the organizational and position structure with FEMA’s strategic mission and objectives.

PTG provided SBA’s OCIO with workforce development and human capital consulting services to improve the skillset and flexibility of the SBA IT workforce (2210 Series). In an environment of declining budgets, yet increasing IT modernization demands, PTG was able to optimize the IT workforce, ensuring the OCIO attained the maximum value and ROI from its IT resources and investments.

PTG worked directly with the CEO of a 1,400 employee Public Healthcare Company and his leadership team during a critical phase in its growth process to provide a rapid organizational assessment that contained clear recommendations and next steps for ensuring maintaining and sustaining their organizational growth. Along with coaching the CEO and several key leaders directly, organizational development consulting was provided. This included organizational structure and design, developing an organizational culture, strategic alignment of the leadership team, and change management consultation.

PTG supported NSF’s LMS (LearnNSF) by providing LMS administration and technical services. PTG served as NSF’s primary interface to the LMS vendor (SAP) and developed integrations with content providers (LinkedIn Learning, Lynda.com). PTG integrated LearnNSF with NSF’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for automated user management; configured organizational hierarchies, user permissions, courses, catalogs, and curricula; loaded and tested courses and offerings (synchronous/asynchronous, online, virtual, classroom); managed learning assignments, competencies, programs, and mandatory and recurring training; setup approval workflows for SF-182 and other training requests; monitored and generated system reports on learning activities, and developed custom reports.
